Subaru of America Gears Up for 50th Anniversary Year Celebrations

It may be hard to believe for some, but next year, Subaru of America will celebrate 50 years of providing drivers all over America with a wide variety of quality automobiles. For many, when you think about the dawn of Subaru vehicles, they may think of the classic Outback Wagon or Impreza models, but in reality, Subaru of America was started in 1968, and in celebration of its upcoming 50th anniversary, Subaru is gearing up with a number of charity events and special edition models that we'll learn more about in the coming months.

The first Subaru model to be sold in the United States was named the 360, and was designed to rival the Volkswagen Beetle with a price tag that was $300 cheaper. Since then, Subaru has remained faithful to its roots of providing drivers with a number of high quality and affordable vehicles, culminating so far in the latest fleet of 2017 Subaru models, including the Impreza, Legacy, Crosstrek, Outback, Forester, WRX, and BRZ.

Subaru will continue releasing information about the 50th anniversary events as the year continues, as well as more information surrounding the upcoming special edition models they will be releasing. We want to encourage you to check back in for any new details, and if you have any questions, we welcome you to come visit us here at Riley Subaru, today!
