When drivers have finally done all of their research and made up their mind regarding which make and model to purchase for their next ride, there is still one last piece of the puzzle missing...

It is now time to decide which model-year is best for you! With varying features, driving capabilities, price tags and standard equipment changing from year to year, you certainly need to take a good look at these differences to make a wise purchasing decision.

So before you buy the adventurous and sophisticated Subaru Outback wagon, you should certainly consider the differences between both the 2017 Outback and the latest 2018 Outback.

While the 2017 model-year may be slightly cheaper now, there are some key updates and enhancements for 2018 that may make the newest Outback hard to resist!

New Additions for the 2018 Subaru Outback

  • For 2018, the new Subaru Outback notably received advanced sound-insulating glass, as well as a heavily retuned suspension system. Why? To deliver a ride that is both dramatically quieter and much smoother than ever before.
  • On the outside, the new Outback now has a refreshed front fascia for more style points. The bold hexagonal grille now proudly boasts the Subaru badge front-and-center. The front headlights are also more striking and eye-catching too.
  • Lastly, the STARLINK™ Multimedia system was upgraded in addition to all of the above. Both the desirable Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ systems are now included as standard equipment with no extra cost, so you're always connected to your smartphone.
  • Shoppers in Dubuque, Manchester, Lancaster, Platteville and Galena are welcome to test drive the 2017-2018 Subaru Outback model right here at Riley Subaru!
