The New Subaru Outback Is Getting Ready To Make Its Big Stage Debut At The New Your International Auto Show

The Subaru Outback has been the perfect midsize SUV for many Dubuque, IA with the ability to adapt to everything life has to offer. Which makes the arrival of the totally redesigned Subaru Outback very exciting and we can't wait to see what Subaru has in store for us.

The Subaru Outback is not like any other SUV on the road and if you are currently driving one you understand why. The Outback is a wagon-style SUV that is ready for big adventures with towing abilities, flexible interior space, and standard roof rails with integrated crossbars to easily mount any roof accessory. So what can we expect for the all-new 2020 Subaru Outback? The Subaru Forester and Legacy have been redesigned and are now built on the new Subaru Global Platform. The Subaru Global Platform is a new chassis that uses more high-strength steel for long-lasting quality. The Subaru Global Platform also delivers great durability, rigidity, and vibration resistance that enhances crash safety, makes for a quieter interior, better driving feel, and confidence for years to come.

The new Legacy and Forester are also powered by updated BOXER engines that are more powerful and more fuel efficient. We can expect the same two engines as the 2020 Legacy to power the 2020 Outback; a 182 horsepower 2.5L BOXER and a 260 horsepower turbo. Both the Legacy and Forester are also larger than their previous models and features Subaru DriverFocus Distracted Driving Mitigation system. Which will most likely be a newly available safety feature of the 2020 Outback.

Be sure to watch Subaru's live stream event of the 2020 Outback revile on April 17th at 11:15 am. Subaru will be streaming the event on Facebook. It is expected that the 2020 Outback will arrive later this year in the fall and everyone here at Riley Subaru can't wait to get a firsthand look at the all-new Outback.
