The new Solterra utilizes an all-wheel-drive system due to the duo electric motors. One motor mounts at the rear axle, and the other at the front axle. The motors pair with a lithium-ion battery to give out 215 horsepower and a driving range of 220 miles per charge. The new Solterra can perform well in any driving situation, given that it comes equipped with a great powertrain setup.
In Platteville, WI, this SUV will be reliable since it's offered with several available off-road features and four drive modes, including Eco, Normal, X-Mode, and Power. Its off-road features include all-terrain tires, 8-inch ground clearance, and low-speed cruise control. In addition, the paddles mounted on the steering wheel result in adjustable regenerative braking.
If the battery runs low and becomes depleted, you have an option of charging it using a DC Fast Charger or a household 240-volt charger. However, a household charger will take more time to recharge the battery, but with the DC Fast charger, it only takes a few minutes, ranging between 30 to 45 minutes.
