Mt. Washington is the largest peak in the Northeastern United States, and since 1904 it has been home to one of America's oldest motorsports event: the Mt. Washington Hillclimb! Mt. For many, when you think about the dawn of Subaru vehicles, they may think of the classic Outback Wagon or Impreza models, but in reality, Subaru of America was started in 1968, and in celebration of its upcoming 50th anniversary, Subaru is gearing up with a number of charity events and special edition models that we'll learn more about in the coming months.

Subaru recently announced that because of the 2016 Share the Love event, they were able to donate $23.4 million to national and local charities, bringing the grand total of money raised over the lifespan of the program to over $94 million donated. The Share the Love event is held at the end of every year for the past nine years now, and with every new Subaru model sold or leased, Subaru donates $250 to a number of charitable organizations at the choice of the customer buying or leasing the vehicle.
